Was born in Switzerland. Her spirit of adventure and her interest in nature brought her to Costa Rica and Drake Bay over 20 years ago. After living at the lodge for 17 years, Jolanda moved to the city in 2008 due to her son’s education.

Was born in San José, Costa Rica. He discovered the Drake Bay area in the middle of the seventies checking out a new surf location with a friend. David is also an excellent all-rounder and boat driver.
He lives and works at the lodge most time of the year.
